Oakton educator honored at volleyball game
Congratulations to Oakton Elementary art teacher Marisa Hernandez, who received an acknowledgment of teaching excellence at a recent Northwestern women's volleyball team! She was asked to start the game with an honorary first serve, boosted by a large cheerleading group of Oakton staff and families, art department colleagues, family and more.
This marks the 15th year teaching art at Oakton for Ms. Hernandez, who is also the chair of the district’s art department. Way to turn up the J-Factor!
